Opus was created to showcase creative individuals and creative movements, especially in design and the visual arts. The inspiration behind the design of the magazine is new age design combined with classic publication design techniques. The magazine is divided into three sections: an article section; an artist exposé; and an interview section. All the articles were borrowed from online sources and then spreads were created to complement the subject matter. This artist exposé was based on the Sorlet sisters, with information and images borrowed from the sisters’ personal websites. The interview section consisted of two interviews conducted with local creatives and includes samples of work created by each of them.
